In ancient times, to the nation of Israel, Passover was a ritual Yahweh gave to them to kill a young lamb once a year.
God had delivered this ancient nation from the land of Egypt, but He only did so because they obeyed His voice, killed a lamb, and put the blood on the doorposts of their homes. Had they not done this thing (and some of them disobeyed and did not), an angel of God went through and slew all the firstborn sons of Egypt. But for the Israelites, if they didn’t perform the ritual God gave them, their own firstborn sons would die as well.
Those who did as Yahweh told them had their children saved.
God did not slay the children out of cruelty, but to cause the nation of Egypt to set the Israelite slaves free. There is a great resurrection coming in the far future when all shall live again, and have their minds opened by Yahweh at that time. Those children will be resurrected into a better world by Yahweh.
In commemoration of that night, Yahweh instructed that ancient nation to roast and eat a lamb whole every year. That was the ancient “picture” Yahweh gave of something He would do in the future.
The ancient nation of Israel was not special above other nations. Yahweh simply chose them to serve as an example to all nations of what man is like.
The ancient nation of Israel always pictured ALL MANKIND.
Ancient Egypt always pictured “spiritual captivity,” which is slavery or bondage of the mind of man to the way of sin (selfishness). We are ALL inherently selfish.
So, the ancient lamb pictured His own Son, the Son of God, Joshua (Jesus), whom God would send to die for all sin and free mankind from that bondage. But the Spirit of Yahweh can change us to become like Him. To become unselfish.
It is not Yahweh’s design for you to know more than that at this time.
You will not be keeping the ancient Passover, nor will you be keeping the rituals that were given by His Son Joshua, to be observed after His death.
No one is to keep the Passover rituals without being baptized by water. And no one can be baptized by water by anyone who is not a trained and ordained servant of Yahweh.
Elijah has not been sent to baptize by water, but to baptize in the Holy Spirit.
When you believe what you are reading, as soon as you agree to obey it, and you begin to obey my voice (which is the Voice of Yahweh, for I am “the Mouth of Yahweh,” His Prophet, His Servant), God baptizes you—immerses your mind—with His Spirit.
This is a spiritual matter. You will not “feel” anything physical. In fact, you likely won’t notice anything different at all. However, your UNDERSTANDING will change. This is how you know you are baptized in the Spirit.
(Be aware, if you encounter anyone who says they experienced anything “physical” upon receiving the Spirit, it was NOT Yahweh. Such a person is messing with the demon world. You shall rebuke them, “That Sprit is not from Yahweh, you have a demon! Seek the true Yahweh and repent!” And you shall flee from them. Do not fear them or the demon world. Yahweh is with you. But you shall flee them and avoid them so that your mind does not become corrupted. Listen to NOTHING such a person says to you. Look upon anything they tell you with contempt.)
You will understand all these things more deeply, and you will be in stronger agreement with His ways the longer you obey. Not because Yahweh tricks you or controls your mind (that is not how Yahweh works), but because you see the principles of Yahweh and you choose to agree (it is always a choice; Yahweh God doesn’t force anyone to follow Him).
At this time, regarding Passover, Yahweh has a simple instruction for you:
On the night of Passover, speak and move quietly, solemnly. It is a reverent night (but it is not a holy day). Eat a nice meal. If you are near other believers you know of, and you are able, meet with them and eat this meal together. Be with one another, and speak with one another about all you are learning. Rejoice in His calling. If possible, eat some lamb with your meal, but it is not required if you are unable to do so. Listen to relaxing music if there is any available.
Once this meal is done, go home, sit quietly, and think of all that Yahweh has given you, both physically and spiritually, and pray to Him with thanks.
Be thankful to Him. Rejoice. Then go to bed.
That is all that is required at this time.
