The weekly seventh-day Sabbath was set aside by Yahweh during Creation Week as a dedicated time to rest from the six working days, to learn His ways, and to draw close to Him.
When is the Sabbath?
The Sabbath is neither Friday nor Sunday—it falls on the day the world calls Saturday.
In Yahweh’s order, a day begins and ends at sundown. Therefore, the Sabbath begins at sunset on Friday evening and concludes at sunset on Saturday evening.
Rest and Sanctification
The Sabbath is holy to Yahweh. On this day:
Cease from Labor:
You shall do no work or labor to provide income or pursue ordinary business.
Focus Your Mind:
It is a day to rest, relax, pray, and study to learn more about Yahweh and His Word.
Refrain from Commerce:
Do not buy, sell, or engage in commercial transactions on the Sabbath, with the exception of purchasing food to enjoy during the Sabbath hours.
Stay Clean:
Do not clean the house or do normal chores, but if you make dishes from a meal you should clean them. Don’t clean your house (it should be cleaned before you enter the Sabbath), but clean up any small messes that arise. You may cook, eat, bath, as normal. But do not do “special projects” around the house.
Fellowship, Joy, and Meals
The Sabbath is meant to be a delight and a time of renewal:
The Sabbath Evening Meal:
Friday evening marks the start of the holy time. If possible, gather with family for a special, joyful meal. If you are alone, go out of your way to prepare or enjoy a meal that is finer than your normal weekday fair, according to your means.
The Sabbath Morning:
Enjoy a relaxed, special breakfast on Saturday morning as you remain in the spirit of rest.
Holy Convocation:
While spending time with family is a blessing, it is vital—wherever possible—to assemble and spend the Sabbath hours in fellowship with other believers.
”Rest does not weaken the warrior—it prepares him for battle. Even the strongest must pause. Even the boldest must breathe.”—Tribal Warrior Proverb
Concerning the Days of the Week
The Host of Yahweh must use the names of the days of the weeks as they are in your areas, to continue to conduct business as normal with the world that doesn’t follow Yahweh.
But to you, the Holy Host, He grants a special truth.
Our days of the week, among ourselves, will no longer carry the old pagan names of false gods.
The days of the week, in our minds and hearts to Yahweh, will be named according to His original pattern.
A day starts at sunset. Once the sun crosses on the horizon at sunset, the new day has begun.
Sunday is no longer “Sunday,” it is “First Day.”
Monday is no longer “Monday,” it is “Second Day.”
Tuesday is no longer “Tuesday,” it is “Third Day.”
Wednesday is no longer “Wednesday,” it is “Fourth Day.”
Thursday is no longer “Thursday,” it is “Fifth Day.”
Friday is no longer “Friday,” it is “Sixth Day.”
Saturday is no longer “Saturday,” it is “Seventh Day,” or “Sabbath.”
If you make schedules for yourselves, speak of the days of the week among yourselves, use these names. They are the names of the days as they were in the Beginning, when Yahweh first made mankind.
Final Note: Do not look into the ways of the modern day Jewish culture or “Christianity“ to learn of Yahweh. They believe they follow Him, yet they do not. They have corrupted their way on the earth. We will use the bible, but we do not read, believe, or accept man‘s “commentaries” or interpretations of His Ways. They are wrong.
Yahweh is giving you His truth; He will reclaim the Nations of Judah and Israel in His own time. But for now, avoid them.
